West Harbour Veterinary Clinic have been part of the landscape of West Harbour for the last 30 years and was originally started as a small branch clinic in 1985. Since then, we have grown into a modern and busy two vet clinic for small companion animals. In 2017, West Harbour Vet Clinic joined the Pet Doctors family as their exciting, newest addition.

Our modern clinic is well equipped to serve your pets’ needs. We have a wide range of diagnostic lab equipment as well as intravenous fluid pumps, blood pressure monitoring, ECG machine and pulse oximetry to enable us to diagnose and treat your pets’ medical and surgical conditions. We also have digital X-ray radiography and ultrasound onsite. We have a comprehensive pharmacy and have access to a wide range of treatment options for your animals if required.

We are also fortunate to have a team of dedicated, caring, compassionate and highly trained nurses who are driven to provide the best care possible for your pets.

We pride ourselves in being a friendly, caring and compassionate team offering quality and up to date veterinary care for your pets.

Sarah has worked in the vet industry since 1999 and gained her National Certificate of Veterinary Nursing from Auckland University of Technology. She has 2 crazy Griffons named Sadie & Roxy and an elderly, deaf cat named Ebony. Though Sarah has worked in the vet industry since she was 19-years-old, you won't catch her anywhere near snails as she has a phobia of them!

Veterinarian Nurse

Krystyna has a Level 5 Certificate in Veterinary Nursing and managed the West Auckland Dog Kennel before her time with Pet Doctors. She worked with fear aggressive and anti-social dogs so they can find their forever home. Krystyna enjoys how each day is so different and working with the awesome team. Her special interests include canine behaviour and surgical nursing.

Krystyna has a rescue pet named Holly who was an ex chain dog. You won't be seeing Krystyna anywhere near the circus though as she's scared of clowns!

Veterinary Nurse

Samantha worked at Kaukapakapa Vets for 3 years dealing with large and small animals after completing her Diploma in Veterinary Nursing. She enjoys working in a team and is interested in surgery and radiology.

Samantha has a cat and a dog. Her cats name is Pookie who she's had for 10 years and Ruubah who was named by her husband after the rum, Coruba. Samantha really enjoys crocheting and being creative in her own time.

Before joining Pet Doctors, Sian worked in Taupo for 5 years then went travelling around Europe. She lived in the UK for 2 years working as a locum nurse in London, Glasgow and Bristol. Sian enjoys all aspects of her role but has a special interest in surgery and dog behaviour.
