Dr Allen Yang

Dr Allen Yang

Lead Veterinarian - BVSc - St Lukes

Allen graduated from Massey University in 2010. After working at Wellington SPCA for 4 years, Allen made the move back to his home town of Auckland to begin work as an exotic pet veterinarian.

While Allen mainly focuses on tending to our exotic patients, he still likes to see the occasional cat & dog which always brings back good memories of the SPCA days.

Outside of work, Allen can be found at the gym, playing basketball, eating (a lot) and chasing after his 1 year old son!

Shondell joined the team in 2016 after spending a number of years working in busy companion animal practices & emergency after-hours clinics across Australia and New Zealand. In 2019 she took on the additional role of team leader and works closely with our Lead Veterinarian to keep the practice running.

She has a strong passion for animal welfare and loves the variety of working at Pet Doctors St Lukes & Exotics Centre.

In her spare time, Shondell likes to spend her time tending to her ridiculous amount of house plants, experimenting with vegan cooking, traveling to new countries & volunteering at animal sanctuaries when she can.

Chloe joined us in 2017 and has developed a love for all things feathered, scaley and furry.
