Our clinic, on the corner of Aldwins Road and Marlborough Street was established in 1986, and became part of the Pet Doctors family in 2016. Our team strive to care for your pets in a relaxed and welcoming clinic. We are able to provide a range of vet services including vaccinations, emergency care, de-sexing, dental care, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries. We also offer ultrasound, endoscopy, chemotherapy treatment, acupuncture and penn-hip scoring.
Just like you, our team of vets and vet nurses are passionate about pets and that's why we love to work here. We understand there's a special bond between people and their animals. Our qualified veterinary nurses offer a range of nurses clinics from weight loss to nail clips and much more. As part of the wider Pet Doctors group, we can also offer you a range of extra services and benefits.
We will always put your pets health and well-being first and are very fortunate to work alongside a bunch of the most dedicated vets, vet nurses and customer care people in the country.
The expertise, equipment and high level of staff training that is available ensures that this is the only place we want to work. We are proud of our pain-free policy that ensures that all pets go home post-operatively with long acting pain relief.

Before joining Pet Doctors, Renee has worked with Marshall & Pringle for 10 years. She moved to Christchurch from Blenheim to study working with animals as it was love of hers from a young age. Renee grew up with a father in agriculture and there were many strays coming home.
Renee enjoys how everyday is different as a veterinary nurse and getting to know her patients and cliental. Currently she is very keen on helping pets lose weight and seeing their transformations.
Renee has two pets; Bradic who is a Weimaraner, Lab x Hunterway who's best friend is a wee Pug. She also has a lop-ear bunny who her kids named after the famous movie 'Hop' as he was born at Easter.
In her spare time, Renee teaches mixed ability dance for a company called Jolt and enjoys seeing the children she teaches become beautiful dancers. She also loves spending time with her family.
Jesse's love for animals began when she graduated in 2006 with a diploma in animal management with distinction gaining a range of skills with a variety of animals. Jesse has a rabbit who loves running free in the garden and watching TV on the couch. In her spare time, Jesse enjoys hiking, horse-riding and spending time with family and friends.
