Our clinic can be easily found in the White Swan Road shops.
In addition to our range of veterinary services, we also provide you and your cat with an indoor cattery as well as the referral service for radioactive iodine treatment of hyperthyroidism in cats.
We will always put your pets health and wellbeing first and are very fortunate to work alongside a bunch of the most dedicated vets, vet nurses and customer care people in the country.
The expertise and the latest equipment and high level of staff training that is available ensures that this is the only place we want to work. We are proud of our pain-free policy that ensures that all pets go home post-operatively with long acting pain relief.

Dr Nadia Laing BVSc - Veterinarian
Nadia graduated as a Vet from Massey University in 1995, her first position was at SPCA Auckland then clinics within the Auckland area. Deciding it was time for a change and new challenges Nadia joined the Pet Doctors team.
Nadia is dedicated to providing high quality medicine and developing good relationships with clients and their pets as well as the team she works with.
At home off the radar Nadia has 2 boys and wonderful companions including 2 rescue dogs, Truffle the Griffon, Molly the Poodle, Dezze a British short haired cat, Tin Tin the Flemish Giant rabbit, Joe Joe the cockatiel and many goldfish.
Outside of work Nadi enjoys beach and bush walks, spending time in the garden tending to flowers and vegetables, crafts including knitting and cross stitch, cooking and baking as well as yoga and zumba.
CLIENT RELATIONS - Lynfield
After many years volunteering in an animal shelter, working with cats, in a pet shop and another vet clinic, Julie started as our receptionist in 2009. She has got 2 dogs and several cats: all loved and spoiled rotten. Outside of work she is very involved with her families sporting activities. She manages softball teams and dance troupes, taking great pride in the achievements of her husband, daughter and son.
VETERINARY NURSE DVN
Melissa has been a nurse for over 18 years with 5 of them being with the Mt Albert team - these 18 years of nursing include 8 years of being in an equine hopsital and working in Europe for a year. She brings with her an irreplaceable wealth of knowledge and passion! In the clinic, Melissa enjoys working in surgery and helping patients who require specialty medicine like chemotherapy and radioactive iodine treatment for cats who have an overactive thyroid. If she could, she would be back in Florence Italy or cruising the world on a nice big ship, but while at home in NZ Melissa cares for furry children: Calvin the Stallion, Legs and Emerald the horses, Isis the Abyssinian, Hugo and Willow the Border Collies, 15 hens and preparing for the 2 foals due this spring! Her interests outside of work are horses - even grooming them to National Level Eventing Horses!
VETERINARY NURSE DVN
Vanessa worked 10 years’ in the pharmacy industry before following her passion for animals and becoming a Veterinary Nurse. As well as a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing, Vanessa also has a Certificate in Animal Management. Vanessa enjoys the variety that comes with nursing and has a passion for surgical and critical care.
Vanessa has named all her feline friends after musicians. At home she has a long haired cat named Zakk, Duff a Persian cross and two Ragdolls, Lemmy & Flynn.
Vanessa and her partner enjoy live music and whenever possible they will go to concerts and she also enjoys camping and reading.
