Veterinarian Nurse - DVN
Paula is an accomplished Team Leader and Veterinary Nurse, bringing over 25 years of experience to the Dinsdale clinic. Paula has a strong foundation of knowledge, achieving her Veterinary Nursing qualification with Merit and dedicating herself to be an excellent veterinary nurse with a strong focus on customer service and animal advocacy.
Alongside the many animals Paula has cared for, her home is occupied by her partner, two children, her Staffi Kaos, Jack Russel Murphy, 2 cats Stanley & Lollipop, 2 cockatiels and many guinea pigs.
Nicola completed her Veterinary Nursing Certificate in 2011 at
Wintec and gained her Diploma in Veterinary Nursing in 2012. Nicola is a great
anaesthetic nurse, always ready for surgery and enjoys the interesting cases
like the rescued hedgehog that needs tube feeding, or the injured bird that
needs feeding.
Nicola is a local, having grown up in the Waikato. She loves all animals and shares her house with her cats Bub and Tigger, and the noisy cockatiels, Ruby & Drake. Outside of work Nicola loves camping and is very creative with arts and crafts.
VETERINARY NURSE - CVN
Since graduating with a Certificate in Veterinary Nursing I have been fortunate to join the Pet Doctors group in July 2015. I have a special interest in animal behaviour and also love being involved with the surgery role.
I have a few pets in my household including my Rottweiler Minder, 2 cats Spooks and Lucky and my cockatiel Rambo. In my spare time I enjoy boxing, netball as competitive sport.
Kathy is an extremely experienced Vet Nurse at Pet Doctors, with over 20 years' experience at our clinic. Kathy has been a Vet Nurse from the age of 20 and has a special interest in surgery and any 'abnormal' special cases. As well as caring for your pets, Kathy, her husband and daughters care for Tiki & Lulu their two Shih-Tzu crosses, Penelope their cockatiel, Bubbles & Squirtels their two cats, and Lola & Daisy the Flemish Giant Rabbits - so there is nothing Kathy cannot handle! Kathy is very knowledgeable and will be more than happy to answer your questions. Ask for Kathy at your next visit to Pet Doctors Dinsdale.
